WHAT IS DEATH EXPO?

Death Expo 2015 is a 4-day Online Event that will feature experts and thought leaders in the end-of-life arena and serve as a catalyst for practitioners, businesses, grassroots organizations, and lay persons interested in the end-of-life. The goal of the Expo is to share the strategies, wisdom, relationships, and expertise needed to accelerate change in the way we approach death and dying around the world in the 21st century.

This virtual conference will consist of Keynote Presentations, Panel Discussions, and Q & A Sessions that bring together hundreds of innovators, change-makers, advocates, and knowledge-seekers for an experience that will revolutionize every aspect of death and dying—from advance care planning, to caring for the dying, funeral and burial options, afterlife explorations, bereavement, community education, and the arts.

FAQ

I can't listen live to some of the Keynotes. Will I still be able to hear them?

Absolutely! All Keynote Presentations will be available as Replays throughout the Expo and for 3 days after it ends. If you would like additional unlimited access to all of archived interviews and/or the Keynotes, consider purchasing the Keynote Package or All Access Pass mentioned above.

Do I have to call-in by telephone in order to hear the speakers?

There are 3 options for listening to the Keynote Presentations:

1. Call-in by telephone and you will be able to speak directly to the host and presenter to ask questions or make comments.
2. Listen on your computer and you will be able to type in your comments and questions.
3. Listen using Webcast on your computer. When you connect with the presentation on your computer you will have the option to use Webcast, which will allow you to speak directly to the host and presenter, as long as you have a headset with a microphone.

How will I know how to access the presentations?

If you have registered for the Expo you will receive an email each day with a list of presentations for the day and detailed instructions for calling in or listening online. You will also receive information about listening to Replays of previous interviews and the archived interviews that are available.

There are so many options. How can I choose what to listen to?

If you are especially interested in hearing or learning about one particular aspect of the end-of-life you might want to focus on 1 or 2 tracks that appeal to you and listen to most of the interviews in those tracks. Or if you want to hear "a little of everything," pick out 1 or 2 interviews from each track to listen to. A few days before the event you will receive a "Schedule Planner" that will help you identify the presentations you want to hear and mark them on your calendar so that you won't miss them.

Again, consider purchasing the Keynote Package or All Access Pass if you would like to hear everything!

Can I listen if I don't have computer access?

You will be able to listen to all of the Keynote Presentations by dialing in by telephone, but the Replays and archived interviews will require a computer in order to tune in.

How does the Access Pass work?

When you purchase the All Access Pass you will get immediate unlimited access to all of the archived interviews for Death Expo on a dedicated private webpage. When the Expo ends all of the Keynote Presentations will be added to that webpage, along with the capability of downloading each presentation if you prefer to add them to your audio library. The All Access Bonuses will also be available on that same page.

If you purchase the Keynote Package, you will receive access to replays of all Keynote Presentations as soon as Death Expo ends. Each of these presentations can be downloaded to your computer if you prefer.
